My second Citrus Lane box has arrived! For those of you that don’t know about Citrus Lane, Citrus Lane is a monthly subscription box for children’s’ toys and items. One of the best things about this box is that you tell them how old your child is and they send you age appropriate items. Thus, the box is supposed to “grow up” with your child. The regular price for a box is $29 a month, but they do have discounts if you buy a subscription for more than one month. If you want to try a box out for yourself, you can click here for 50% off your first box and because I referred you, I’ll get some referral credit to buy more stuff from Citrus Lane!
Anyway, enough of my shameless plug. Now to the box!
The first item in the box was Scrappy Elephant from Under the Nile ($6.95 + $2.99 shipping )
I knew that I would be getting this item in my box because earlier this month Citrus Lane sent me an email, which allowed me to choose the color of my elephant. I decided to choose a more neutral gender color scheme of green and orange. The elephant is a perfect size to fit in Connor’s hand and made of a nice, soft cotton material.
Little Hoot from Chronicle Books (The back of the book states that the price is $7.99, however the cheapest I could find the book online is $12.14)
After already receiving a board book last month, I was a little disappointed to see another board book at first. However, this story was so cute and funny that I quickly changed my mind about this book.
The third item in my box was a Happy Friends from Hape rattle ($6.99 + $7.20 shipping).
This rattle was one of the items included on Citrus Lane’s website as a sneak peak into the December boxes. I thought it was really cute and I was hoping that I’d have it in my box. It was a lot smaller than I thought it was going to be, but I guess it makes sense because it has to fit in a baby’s hand.
The last set of items in the box were two Super Blends from Love Child Organics ($1.67 each).
The two flavors I received were (1) Strawberry, Peaches, and Bananas and (2) Blackberries, Raspberries, Pears, and Bananas. Connor is a little too young to eat these right now, but I’m sure we’ll be giving these to him in no time. I’m so excited!
In summary, I really liked this month’s box and can see myself using every single one of the items in this box. Also, I am very impressed at how prompt this box was. Living in Hawaii, I’ve been accustomed to having mail arrive late and I was expecting this box later this week, especially considering that it’s so close to Christmas. Thus, it was a nice surprise to see my box early. 🙂
